The Tabla is an Indian classical percussion instrument, typically associated with North Indian classical "Hindustani" music. The tabla, over the past fifty years, has become a widely popular instrument around the world and has expanded far from its original Indian roots. It is often played in accompaniment to the Sitar, and it is known as one of the most complex percussive instruments in the world.
Personally, I have been playing the Tabla on and off for almost nine years. This page serves as a repository for both my own original Tabla compositions, as well as a general record of Tabla compositions I hold in great esteem.
